Future Generation is recruiting for a range of positions and skill levels for the delivery of the project and to support the workforce.

You can also register your interest for upcoming Snowy 2.0 positions and operational jobs at the segment factory that will manufacture the tunnel segment linings for the Snowy 2.0 project.

Recruitment for operational positions at the segment factory will start in late 2020.

Click on the Snowy 2.0 Careers Centre button below and then select the ‘Register’ tab at the top right of the screen to register your interest for job opportunities. You can set up a Job Alert to be notified when the role you are looking for is advertised.

Snowy 2.0 is an exciting project that will see significant opportunities for local jobs, businesses and service providers to support the delivery of Snowy 2.0.

Future Generation is committed to providing local employment opportunities, especially for residents from across the Snowy Mountains region. Local residents can click on the Local Jobs button below to register interest for potential opportunities with Future Generation and our suppliers & subcontractors.

 

If you see a specific role of interest that is advertised in our Snowy 2.0 Careers Centre or with our suppliers, you should apply directly.


Employment drop-in sessions

Future Generation, the principal contractor delivering Snowy 2.0 on behalf of Snowy Hydro, is planning some drop-in sessions to discuss upcoming jobs for locals on the project. Click here for more information about the job sessions in Tumut, Tumbarumba and Cooma, 19-21 May.

This recruitment activity is part of Future Generation’s local workforce strategy aimed at workers in regional industries impacted by last summer’s bushfires. It will be an opportunity for workers from impacted industries to find out more about types of jobs available on Snowy 2.0, the skills & training required, the recruiting process and camp life.

No appointment is necessary. The recruitment drive will involve confidential, one-on-one conversations with our HR team & training service providers and will be set up to comply with restrictions associated with COVID-19.
